In this workshop attendees will learn what it takes to start a successful business including:
* Assessing the required skills
* Basic information on taxes, licenses and legal requirements
* Determining the right legal structure
* Tradename protection
* Doing a business plan, and
* An introduction to financing options available for startups.
Attendees will be provided a workbook that includes a sample business plan and other information needed for starting up.
