Incumbent Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane and mayoral candidates Drew Bernhardt and John Washington will square off in an election forum August 22nd at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton, 5401 N. Scottsdale Rd., 85250.
Bernhardt and Washington, both small-business owners, are seeking to unseat Lane, a retired certified public accountant, in the Aug. 28 primary. The event will be moderated by Chamber President and CEO Rick Kidder and will feature a series of questions presented to each candidate, followed by questions from the audience. The public is invited to attend.
