Breakfast With The OTHER Side of Education in Arizona, featuring Keynote Speaker Matthew Ladner
A few months ago, we hosted Breakfast With A Side Of?the 48th State featuring keynote presenter, Dr. David R Garcia, Associate Professor, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. Dr. Garcia provided an informative and interactive session about major issues in education, focusing on why we may be the 48th ranked state in education.
On Thursday, November 30th we invite you to Breakfast with the OTHER side..., Featuring Matthew Ladner, Senior Advisor for Policy and Research at the Foundation for Excellence in Education. He?s one of the nation?s leading voices in the area of school choice, and he has a very interesting position when it comes to Arizona K-12 education ? namely, that he believes our schools are doing far better than they are given credit.
Matthew Ladner is a Senior Research Fellow with the Charles Koch Institute. Ladner has authored multiple studies and books on K-12 education, and helped to develop the nation?s first education savings account program in 2011. Ladner lives in Phoenix and received the Arizona Chamber of Commerce?s Milton Friedman Award in recognition of his work in 2016.

Breakfast with a Side of... is a series of forums that provide Chamber Members an excellent opportunity to learn about the issues affecting the Scottsdale area business community. The forum is structured on dialogue between those leaders making policy decisions and Chamber Members. Each forum will feature a conversation with influential leaders in Scottsdale. Forums will be highlighted by guest speakers, a moderator and will allow plenty of time for questions and answers.
