Member Event - Multi-Cultural Chamber Networking Mixer

Hundreds are expected to attend the Multi-Cultural Chamber Mixer of the season hosted by the American Indian Chamber at the Talking Stick Resort on November 14th. Seven chambers and organizations are the host organizations and partners for the event with several other groups participating.

President Diane Enos, Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane have been invited to the 2013 Multi-Cultural Chamber Mixer to give a short welcome speech at the event. Former Channel 12 New Reporter Mary Kim Titla will be the emcee for the evening.

Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment and Southwest Gas Company are the Diamond Sponsors for the event with Casino Arizona. Casino Arizona is contributing the venue and the audio/visual equipment for the program.

“Last year, when the American Indian Chamber hosted the event, with five other chambers involved, over 500 people attended,” said Loren Tapahe, American Indian Chamber president. “It went way beyond our wildest expectations for a first-time event.”

This year, there will be seven groups altogether that will be hosting with American Indian Chamber taking the lead. The Greater Phoenix Black Chamber, the Arizona Hispanic Chamber, the Arizona Asian Chamber, the Association of Minority Contractors of America, the Grand Canyon Minority Supplier Development Council, the East Valley Hispanic Chamber, and the American Indian Chamber of Commerce..

To add to the celebration, Southwest Airlines will be giving away two round trip tickets at the Mixer. Only paid attendees will receive tickets to enter the drawing.

The event will be on Thursday evening, November 14th at the Talking Stick Resort. Appetizers will be served throughout the evening and door prize drawings will happen every 20-to-30 minutes. There will be seven door prizes valued at $250.00 or more donated by the seven chambers and organizations and with the Southwest Airline tickets, a total of over $3,000.00 of prizes will be given away.
