Ribbon Cutting - Vitalant
Vitalant's ribbon-cutting commemorates the grand opening of our new National Office in north Scottsdale. Vitalant was founded in Arizona in 1943, so the event will also celebrate the 80th anniversary of saving lives in Arizona and across the U.S. The ribbon cutting will include a testimonial from Jovanna, a Las Vegas shooting survivor, and her husband Frank. Jovanna was among the first to arrive at the Las Vegas University Medical Center after being shot in the head. With a prognosis of un-survivable injuries, she made a remarkable recovery with the help of blood donors. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will end with first responders giving blood side-by-side for the media in honor of Jovanna.
