Run the Runway 5K/10K

Take off for a morning run at the annual Run the Runway 5k/10k and Kids 1 Mile Mascot Dash (featuring your Arizona Sports Team Mascots that may include; Sun's Gorilla, Coyote's Howler, Cardinal's Big Red, Sun Devil's Sparky and Diamondback's Baxter), benefiting Playworks Arizona.

Participants will run on the Scottsdale Airport runway while being surrounded by beautiful planes and entertainment along this one of a kind route. Post-race festival will include bounce inflatables, DJ, vendors, interactive activities for kids, photo opportunities with planes, awards, and much more!

Run the Runway benefits Playworks Arizona, the only nonprofit organization in the country to send trained, full-time coaches to low-income, urban schools, where they transform recess and play into a positive experience that helps kids and teachers get the most out of every learning opportunity.

5K/10k Registration includes official Run the Runway dri-fit running shirt, drawstring carrying bag, and custom bib. Event shirts for kids available for purchase.

Special awards will be given to the overall male and female winners of the 5k and 10k Race as well as the top three finishers in each age category.
