Get Informed and Engaged!
It is important for young leaders to understand how City government works and the ways to stay informed
and get engaged about issues facing the community. The Scottsdale Rising Young Professionals
(SRYP) have partnered with the City of Scottsdale to bring you a ‘Day at the City.’
Learn more about the structure of government, civic engagement and public participation. Hear from
special guest, Scottsdale Mayor W.J. “Jim” Lane. Participate in a team activity to evaluate a current issue
challenging the community and devise a solution.
