The successful candidate for this position must be a leader and a passionate advocate for propelling the Chamber to achieve standards of excellence. He/she will be a highly collaborative leader with the ability to successfully manage current programs, while developing new programs and strategic initiatives for the Chamber and forming mutually beneficial partnerships with city leaders and business and community organizations within the region and state.
The President/CEO will determine staffing requirements for organizational management, program and events delivery, oversee the implementation of human resource policies, procedures and practices, implement a performance management process for all staff which includes monitoring the performance of staff and the administration of bi-annual performance reviews. Proven success in change management, associate engagement and team building is essential.
