Summary
The Graphic Designer, under general supervision of the Director of Brand Standards & Creative, supports the design and production of Experience Scottsdale’s digital and print creative projects. Projects include website updates, microsites, email campaigns, and a wide range of print collateral such as guides, postcards, notecards, business cards and promotional materials. Working closely with the creative team and under the mentorship of senior designers, this role provides hands-on design support while learning industry best practices. This position also will collaborate with convention sales team to ensure marketing materials align with upcoming initiatives.

- Creative Design & Production: Participate in concepting sessions with the creative team and implement designs for tradeshow booths, collateral, out-of-home placements, familiarization tours and other projects as needed. Design and produce print collateral including one-sheets, downloadable guides, maps, postcards, etc. Assist with the design of Experience Scottsdale publications and guides as assigned. Support digital updates including emails, maps, guides, and website components. Create design elements for promotional items in collaboration with the creative and convention sales teams.
- Collaboration & Project Support: Attend weekly convention sales team meetings to stay aligned with upcoming projects. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute creative projects on time and within brand standards. Update the job tracking report daily or as needed for all assigned projects. Work with the Director of Brand Standards & Creative to manage individual project budgets and track expenses.
- Vendor & Team Relations: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with print vendors. Assist in coordinating production and procurement of print materials. Collaborate with creative services team members during cross-platform brainstorming sessions. Participate in marketing team brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to increase visitor traffic and engagement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required:
· Proficient knowledge of Adobe CS Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
· Proficient in photo editing.
· Strong creativity and innovation with a keen eye for detail.
· Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage a high-volume workload with shifting deadlines.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Positive, team-oriented attitude with confidence working across departments and with external partners.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred, along with a minimum of three years of professional design experience in graphic design or creative services. Strong design portfolio demonstrating digital and print design skills required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job includes both work in an office setting and remote work. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
