About Us

Community Celebrating Diversity is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering peace, unity, and understanding through meaningful programs and events. CCD’s mission is to enhance the perception of diversity, encourage the recognition of shared values and differences, and promote respect for others and the oneness of humanity. Signature initiatives include the annual MLK Celebration, Youth Voices, Diversity Champion Awards, and Youth Scholarships. CCD collaborates with partners to support diversity and inclusion efforts, including Scottsdale Leadership’s Diversity Day. Celebrating over 30 years of impacting the Scottsdale community, CCD continues to honor and advance Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy.
