Jim Derouin has 45 years of experience representing business on environmental issues including those relating to the the purchase and sale of contaminated property as well as the remediation of industrial and agricultural property. He has represented throughout the United States and has delivered more than fifty lectures nationwide on environmental issues including at the Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He has served as a member of the Board of Scientific Counselors to the Centers for Disease Control, having been appointed by Heath and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson. He has been listed for twenty consecutive years in ''Best Lawyers of America'' published by Woodward/Shite. He was named Environmental Lawyer of the Year in 2011 by his peers in the Arizona Bar.
