The Scottsdale Industrial Development Authority (SIDA) is a nonprofit corporation and a designated political subdivision of the State of Arizona. Incorporated on June 15, 1984, the SIDA was established with approval from the Scottsdale City Council. The SIDA is authorized under Arizona law to issue taxable and tax-exempt revenue bonds for eligible projects, often enabling financing at below-market interest rates. All projects financed by the SIDA are subject to final approval by the Scottsdale City Council.
