About Us

Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center (SWCC) rescues, rehabilitates, and provides sanctuary for Arizona’s native wildlife. Injured, orphaned, and displaced wild mammals receive expert medical care and, whenever possible, are released back into their natural habitat. For animals that cannot return to the wild, SWCC offers lifelong sanctuary in a safe and caring environment.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, SWCC is dedicated to conservation through education, research, and advocacy. The center offers guided tours by appointment only, giving visitors a unique opportunity to learn about local wildlife, coexistence strategies, and the importance of healthy ecosystems. SWCC also plays a critical role in the recovery of the endangered Mexican gray wolf through the Mexican Wolf Species Survival Plan (S.A.F.E).

Funded entirely by donations, grants, and fundraising efforts, SWCC relies on the dedication of staff and volunteers to continue its mission: Saving our wildlife, one life at a time.
