International School of Arizona heads to Dallas for
VEX Robotics World Championship
 (Scottsdale, Arizona)

Robotics, the study and practice of the design, construction, operation and use of robots is what six current International School of Arizona (ISA) VRC (VEX Robotics Competition) students know how to do best.  Infact, these students are so versed in Robotics that they will be first timers in the robotics program and are headed to Dallas, Texas at the end of April for the VEX Robotics World Championship. Thousands of teams from around the world will join in a celebration of STEM and robotics for nearly two weeks!  This year ISA will be represented by 8th grader Dorian Bernaquez, 7th grader Kai Mangan and 6th graders Kiptyn Ko, Julian Hirons, Ethan Takher and Andre Vossoughi.  To find out more information on this annual world competition visit:  https://recf.org/vex-robotics-world-championship/
ISA, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, is a private, nonprofit school located in North ScottsdaleIts mission, ‘Opening Doors to Success in a Constantly Changing World’ does exactly that!  ISA offers French & Spanish language immersion programs that begins at 18 months of age and continues through 8th grade.  This small school setting (337 students) offers three different school levels for prospective students:  Early Childhood (PK1-K), the Lower School (1st – 5th grade) and Middle School (6th – 8th grade).  Each classroom offers small class sizes taught by native speakers from countries such as Spain, Mexico, Colombia, France, Belgium and Canada.  In addition, the International School of Arizona is accredited by the French Ministry of Education, the Cervantes Institute and the International Spanish Academies by the Spanish Government, and US Accreditation through Cognia, the world’s largest education community representing 30,000 schools.
